First seminar in SSN Seminar Series

March 06th, 2008 | Category: News

Dear all, Surveillance Studies Network is holding the first of 6 seminars in the ESRC funded series ‘The Everyday life of Surveillance’ on the 1st April at ICOS, University of Sheffield. The seminar explores the experience of surveillance and is entitled ‘Exposure – Subjectivity – Experience’.

Surveillance exposes the subject. Its movements, activities, personalities and expressions are momentarily captured yet durably embedded in the surveillance assemblage.

We have a few places available. If you are interested in attending, please reply to me off list by Friday 7th March.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

We look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks

Kirstie
