Job: Researcher for Taking Liberties project
There is a vacancy for a post doctoral researcher on a three year research project, funded by the Leverhulme Trust, beginning January 09. The project is called ‘Taking Liberties: New uses of consumer data in the UK’, and aims to explore whether consumer data traditionally collected in marketing contexts is now being applied in security contexts. The project is managed by myself, with co-investigators Sally Dibb, Liz Daniel and Maureen Meadows, all at the Open University Business School. The project will also dovetail into The New Transparency MCRI.
This is a great opportunity for a postdoc researcher with an interest in surveillance studies, critical marketing or critical management studies.
