SSN Book Prize 2017: Greg Wise for Surveillance and Film

We are delighted to announce that the winner of the SSN Book Award 2017 is:

Surveillance and Film by J. Macgregor Wise (Bloomsbury 2016)

The quality of nominations this year was outstanding. Surveillance and Film was chosen as the winner by a panel of judges who were particularly impressed by its insightful analysis and engaging style. The book will be of interest to all surveillance scholars irrespective of their specific focus.

The winner will be

  • honored at the upcoming SSN conference (7-9 June 2018, Aarhus, Denmark)
  • receive an award amount of £100
