The Department seeks to appoint a person to a newly funded PETRAS research Hub. This is a grouping of nine leading UK universities (UCL, Imperial, Warwick, Oxford, Lancaster, Surrey, Edinburgh, Southampton and Cardiff) and over 47 partners from industry and government to explore issues of Privacy, Ethics, Trust, Reliability, Acceptability and Security for the Internet of Things (see www.epsrc.ac.uk/newsevents/news/iotresearchhub for further details).
The position offers the opportunity to network and collaborate across the breadth of the PETRAS consortium, contribute to Hub workshops and events and to benefit from initiatives such as mentoring and secondments to industry where appropriate.
This position a full time position, fixed term for 24 months and is available immediately.
